Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join us as part of our Technical team in our Scotland region, based from Glasgow.
Reporting to the Technical Director the Technical Technician is a core role within the technical team and is the main contact hub with the Planning and NHBC Portals for the team and also the invoice tracking system and document management system controller to ensure a reliable and consistent approach is maintained with these vital systems.
The main purpose of the role is to provide architectural support and technical guidance for both regional office and site-based operations.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation of working drawings and provide details for site operations and manage design details for bespoke units
- Resolve, monitor where appropriate site queries to progress product development
- Coordinate and manage various specialist suppliers and integrate their requirements into the working drawings packages
- Procure / produce architectural detailing where non-standard;
- Procure Building Regulation approvals;
- Procure landscaping related surveys, designs and management plans;
- Procure / produce information to assist the legal/sales team (deed plans etc)

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an architecture/technologist degree or equivalent. Registration with ARB/ACIAT would be preferred.
